SMOKE WITH NOISE

 Smoke With Noise was originally conceived as an entry into the Nokia 15 second film competition. No… that’s not true. Originally Smoke With Noise was conceived as a regular sketch on a sketch show we have been developing for years, but when we were contemplating ideas for the 15 second shorts the idea came up. Seemed simple too; a man on a chair in the country. So, we set out to shoot sound bites of 15 seconds long and that was going to be it. Except, as you can see, that wasn’t it!
After watching the footage back we were really pushed on which line would work best at 15 seconds. We had it narrowed down to those you see in the finished product. But in a moment of inspiration Alex placed them all in a row and laid a track over the top. It just so happened to fit the visuals to perfection. A few editing tweaks alter and A Smoke With Noise was born.
Since it’s original conception Smoke With Noise has now developed into a fully fledged trilogy. Keep an eye out on the website as parts 2 and 3 will be coming soon!

SILLY BEAR

 Silly Bear was created at the same time as Smoke With Noise for the same purpose. Silly Bear, though, remained true to it’s original conception. This movie was made for the Nokia 15 second film competition and was inspired by a true story and a scary thought. We also toyed with changing the title, so it didn’t spoil the movie, to “Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are the same person”, but that title has now been adopted by our next major project.
Due to the dark image in this film it is best viewed in a dark room.
